About us

Since we launched Champagne Victor, in April 2002, we have sold over 400,000 bottles within the UK and abroad. Being a new band joining a very busy marketplace, that is quiet an achievement! But numbers are one thing but we intend to concentrate more on the quality than on the volume.

I believe that the attraction of Champagne Victor is that it is a ‘living’ brand (ie: Victor is Champagne Victor!) and fortunately I am still alive… We are not a “posh” elitist brand, rather a contemporary, and young, non-dressy, sporty champagne. A good time drink. We don’t want to pretend to be what we are not.

My objectives for Champagne Victor are to be strong. I am continuing the work we have established with local wholesalers, and the prestigious accounts, making Champagne Victor a popular brand in the marketplace. I have started working with charities and it seems that they really are interested in our proposals. I am also pushing for Champagne Victor to become the champagne of the sports world, as to be a ‘Victor’ is to be a winner. For that effect I am using more and more my motto “Be yourself. Be a Victor”.

Champagne Victor stands for value for money, but we are not the cheapest, our RRP is £20.99.

Champagne Victor may be a young brand but since its launch in April 2002, we have managed to promote it considerably through horse racing, as the ‘Champagne of the Season’ at Glorious Goodwood’s Celebrations of 200 years of racing at Goodwood in 2002, and as a sponsor ‘Ladies In Racing’ which included a presentation of a magnum of Champagne Victor by HM The Queen to the winner of the ‘Champagne Victor Stakes’ at Beverley racecourse in July 2002. In addition we supply Champagne Victor as well as other wines in our portfolio to ‘Attheraces’ – which is a consortium of Channel 4, Sky Television and Arena Leisure who own the TV rights for 49 of Britain’s 59 racecourses.

Champagne Victor has also featured on the World Snooker Championships, (8 million viewers on BBC), the World Darts Championships (2 million viewers on BBC). We regularly appear on ITV (each other week-end during the season) with the British Touring Cars Championship, thanks to Anthony Reid (MG racing driver and a good friend of mine) and we are closely involved with Polo tournaments (currently at three different clubs).

I hope my ‘little’ resume has helped you to see in which direction I want to go. I have confidence in the success of Champagne Victor, in the mean time,
Be yourself. Be a Victor.
With best regards,
Yours,

Victor.
