Grape harvesting: picked by hand, at late ripeness, in small baskets from vines aged between 20 and 30 years old, harvested in the morning

Vinification: pre-fermentative cold maceration, long vatting period, malolactic fermentation in vats, 40% aged for 12 months in barrels with 20% in new barrels

Blend: 80% Carmenère, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes: dense red colour; complex nose of fruit and spices, fine matter, rich and well-balanced, discreet woodiness underlying the fruit, light acidity that brings out the freshness.
